Why ACRM is Different
Patient-Focused Fertility Services in Atlanta
At Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine, we stay on top of all the
new developments in the ever-evolving field of reproductive medicine.
By optimizing assisted reproductive technologies we will raise the bar
of excellence so patients may achieve their ultimate goal: a healthy baby.
We are a team of professionals dedicated to caring for patients through
thoughtful, cost-effective and, most importantly, honest treatment with
an individualized approach.
Our outstanding reputation for patient care and high success rates have
earned us a “Center of Excellence” designation by OptumHealth,
a United Healthcare Company. We have also been named an “Institute
of Excellence” by Aetna.
ACRM is part of the CCRM Network
In 2016, ACRM entered into partnership with the
Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine network (CCRM). This partnership provides patients in the southeastern U.S. with continued
access to ACRM’s outstanding patient care and outcomes, as well
as leading fertility technology developed by the CCRM Network.
Specialty-Trained Atlanta Fertility Doctors Direct Your Care
All our Atlanta
fertility doctors are fellowship-trained in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility,
and are certified or eligible for certification in the subspecialty. Trained
at premier institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania, the
Jones Institute, Johns Hopkins, Emory, and UCLA, our doctors have 182
cumulative years of practice experience. As renowned professionals in
the field, they have served as speakers at national conferences, consultants
to other IVF practices, and hold faculty positions at renowned universities.
Four Offices Across GA
We operate four infertility clinics in Georgia – Atlanta-Perimeter,
Atlanta-Buckhead, Johns Creek, and Marietta office. Most visits can be
scheduled at any office location; Atlanta-Perimeter and Atlanta-Buckhead
also offer evening and weekend appointments. Since infertility treatment
is a 7-day a week commitment, we keep our Atlanta-Perimeter office open
on weekends and holidays, 364 days a year.
A Unified Approach to Care
At ACRM, we believe in a team approach to patient care. In some practices,
each doctor has his/her own way of providing care. This can lead to confusion
and even doubt about what really is the best treatment approach when seeing
different doctors at your visits. At ACRM our doctors meet regularly to
discuss what we believe is the best approach in each case, giving you
the benefit of their combined experience. This also means you will not
get different opinions about treatment depending on which doctor you happen to see.
No Out-Of-Date Tests or Treatments
We will not ask you to do tests that will not alter treatments. Often,
laparoscopies, endometrial biopsies, postcoital tests, and excessive sperm
tests are not needed. We will not recommend ineffective or outdated treatments.
Our goal is to help you achieve a successful pregnancy quickly and efficiently.
We stay up-to-date on the most effective treatments by conferring with
colleagues around the country, attending national conferences, and keeping
up with the most up-to-date
research in our field.
Our Support Comes In Many Forms
Our medical staff will work one-on-one with you to help you understand
the reason(s) for your infertility, arrive at a diagnosis, and design
a treatment plan which suits your situation. When you come for your
New Patient appointment, you will be assigned to a Patient Care Team which includes a Primary
Physician, Primary Nurse, and a Patient Care Coordinator, based on the
office location that is most convenient for you. Our nurses work closely
with our physicians to ensure that your individualized fertility treatment
plan is followed. This includes:
- Going over your infertility treatment plan
- Educating you on the testing you may need to have performed
- Information on any medications being utilized
- Making sure you understand the process and what to expect
Your patient care coordinator will be your primary contact at ACRM. They
will schedule all tests, appointments and surgery, if needed. Your patient
care coordinator works with both your nurse and your physician to ensure
that your entire cycle goes smoothly.
In addition to our traditional fertility services, we also offer a free weekly
support group for our patients and acupuncture services at our Buckhead office. We will
also often refer our patients to other professionals whom we work closely
with that specialize in emotional and mental well-being or nutritional
