Conventional Treatment

While there is much in the news media and on the Internet about high-tech assisted reproductive techniques (ART) like IVF, most couples facing infertility can be helped through more traditional treatments. Once a cause of infertility is diagnosed, physicians usually first consider treatment with fertility drugs and intrauterine insemination (IUI) if fallopian tubes are patent and semen quality is adequate.
