Atlanta Infertility Clinic Experts
The expert clinical team at ACRM's infertility clinics is comprised of an experienced nursing staff. Following your new patient consultation with your ACRM primary physician, you will meet with your primary nurse to review your plan of care. You primary nurse along with your patient care coordinator will serve as your personal points of contacts for any questions you have throughout your time with our practice.
Mikesha Middlebrook, RN, BSN
Director of Nursing
Mikesha Middlebrook received her undergraduate degree in nursing at Emory University. She is a registered nurse licensed in the State of Georgia. She joined ACRM in 2004 as an IVF nurse after working in women's health for 7 years. She left ACRM in 2006 to move to South Carolina to be closer to her immediate family.
Mikesha rejoined ACRM in 2011 and has worked as an IVF nurse, Third Party Coordinator and is currently the Director of Nursing. She is responsible for all clinical services and staff at ACRM.
She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Nurses Professional Group.
Mirrin Reagan, CNS, WHNP-BC, APRN, MSN
Nurse Practitioner/Third Party Coordinator
Mirrin Reagan received her undergraduate degree in nursing at Emory University and completed her graduate training at Georgia State University where she received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in a dual degree program as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Perinatology and a Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) in Women's Health. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in the State of Georgia. Mirrin joined ACRM in 2003 and has worked as an IVF Nurse, Third Party Reproduction Coordinator and as the Director of Clinical Services. She returned to her role as Third Party Reproduction Coordinator in 2013. She cares for patients seeking Egg Donor IVF treatment, using gestational carriers, and supervises Egg Donor screening. In addition, she performs ultrasound monitoring and hysterosalpingograms at the Atlanta - Perimeter office location.
Mirrin is a member of the RESOLVE National Nurses Advisory Board and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Nurses Professional Group. She has served on the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy National Nurse Advisory Board since 2007. She is also adjunct faculty and a clinical preceptor in the graduate program at Emory University's School of Nursing.
Laura LeMay, PA-C
Laura LeMay joined ACRM in 2003 after working in an obstetrics and gynecology practice in the Atlanta area for 16 years where she saw a broad range of patients. She received her undergraduate degree in 1984 in Zoology from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio and her Physician Assistants degree in 1986 from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio. She is a board certified Physician Assistant and is licensed in the State of Georgia. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA). She is responsible for ultrasound monitoring at our Atlanta - Buckhead office location and serves as a primary clinical resource for many of our Atlanta IVF and ovulation induction patients.
Dorothy Self WHNP-BC, APRN, MSN
Nurse Practitioner/Egg Donor Coordinator
Dorothy Self has a Masters Degree in Women's Health and is a Nationally Board Certified Nurse Practitioner licensed in both the state of California and Georgia.
She has worked in the field of infertility since 2001 and joined ACRM in 2012. She graduated from Loma Linda University with a bachelor's degree in nursing and received her National Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from Harbor-University California Los Angeles. While obtaining her degrees, she provided medical care to the underserved and underrepresented population in their homes, at gynecological clinics and during mission trips to South America and South Africa. She then went on to complete her Master's degree at Emory University.
Dorothy has been member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor's Society since 2001 and has received various scholorships including: Kaiser Permanente, Loma Linda University Alumni, Lena Pond and Webb scholarship during her academic years.
In addition to providing diagnostic/treatment ultrasound monitoring at our Atlanta - Perimeter and Johns Creek locations, she is the Egg Donor Coordinator. As an Egg Donor Coordinator she is responsible for the pre-screening and management all of ACRM's annonymous egg donors.
Natalie Perkins WHNP-BC, APRN, MSN
Natalie Perkins joined ACRM in 2012 after working as a postpartum nurse at Northside Hospital for 4 years. In 2006 she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Carson Newman College, Tennessee. In 2012 she received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Georgia State University in the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) program. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in the State of Georgia. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). In addition to providing diagnostic/treatment ultrasound monitoring at our Marietta location, she assists with ACRM's PCOS patients.
Susan Bassett, RN
Susan Bassett joined ACRM in 2008. Before coming to ACRM, Susan practiced in the areas of neurological, post surgical and home health care. Susan received her RN from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV in 1985. Suzi became the OR Manager in 2011.
